Yesterday was a bad day, and the feelings have spilled over into today. I don’t really want to go into all the details because it’s still too raw; it’s still too upsetting.
In an effort to distract myself from all those feelings, I created this infographic.
Infographic is titled “we need our allies”. There is a blue progress line with green and purple icons that illustrate this message:
Autistic people talk a lot about neurodiversity. But if we don’t value our allies, we are failing to uphold the inherent values of the neurodiversity paradigm. If we lose our allies because we have not respected them, we will lose our collective ability to be heard. And we cannot do this on our own, so we need to respect and value our allies because they help us get our message heard. So we need to let our allies know that they are valued because neurodiversity means everyone.
